Mason Greenwood is clinging to the hope of a permanent move to Spain after Valencia made a £25million bid for the Manchester United striker.
The La Liga side were keen to hold on to Greenwood, who scored ten goals in 36 appearances, but can’t afford him while Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have also shown interest. The player is set to leave Old Trafford this summer with United receptive to offers. Mirror Footballreported a fortnight ago that Greenwood was attracting interest from a number of clubs in Italy, with Lazio and Napoli joining Juventus in the race for the Manchester United academy graduate. It's understood that Napoli have even held formal talks with United over a potential deal, while Lazio came close to landing Greenwood before he joined Getafe.
