Writing for the Liverpool Echo, Beesley said: “Curious to see reports elsewhere claiming that Everton are closing in on a transfer for Wilfred Ndidi. Everton may not have loads of money to spend this summer, but that hasn’t stopped the Toffees being linked with several potential new signings as they prepare to kick on under Sean Dyche next term.
However, it doesn’t seem likely that this deal will be completed before the start of next term. With Tim Iroegbunam already arriving on Merseyside, Dyche has already bolstered his midfield.
