Revolut said that the company's IT capability will mean that the process will be much quicker and easier than applying for a mortgage with a traditional bank

Financial tech company Revolut could start offering mortgages to Irish users as early as next year, as it is set to continue to up its competition with legacy banks in Ireland.

“Our team is working very hard on it. I would probably say the first half of next year is realistic. The market is attractive.” Nikolay Storonsky, who founded Revolut in 2015 along with Vlad Yatsenko in 2015, previously revealed that the company plans to offer '100 per cent digital' mortgages in the near future.
