Real Madrid will reportedly attempt to lure Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea to the Bernabeu again in the summer.
De Gea signed a new contract in September, but with his form dipping in recent weeks United may be willing to cash in at the end of the season.De Gea was born in Madrid, and started his career at Real's bitter rivals Atletico before making the move to Manchester in 2011. There have been calls for on-loan keeper Dean Henderson to replace the Spaniard next season after impressing for Sheffield United.
After he signed his lucrative new contract with United, which runs until 2023, De Gea said: "It has been a privilege to spend eight years at this great club and the opportunity to continue my career at Manchester United is a genuine honour.
