The owner of the high-end Ruth’s Chris Steak House chain is among the first public companies to disclose it has received a government-backed loan to keep people on its payroll.
Ruth’s Hospitality Group Inc., a company with more than 5,000 workers, received $20 million in forgivable loans on April 7, according to a securities filing. That is four days after the Small Business Administration opened the application window on its $350 billion Payroll Protection Program.

Ruth’s Chris should give the money back, or the government should take it back. At worst, Americans should boycott and drive them out of business!!

Nice to know when we pay $100 for a pretty average steak it goes into their pockets. When we don’t get the steak we’re still paying them for a pretty average steak they didn’t sell and we didn’t get to eat.
PPP has been a complete nightmare for most legitimately small businesses. large banks excluding customers, not allowing applications, prioritizing massive clients like Ruth's Chris and hedge funds. putting this in the hands of banks rather than SBA = terrible for real small bus

yep because while RESTAURANTS can keep working My small business, didn't get help yet and I cant go to work either! The workers suffer like waitresses and bartenders but they are still operating, still doing food services and workers are delivering
