This was contained in a statement signed by the chairman, Chine to Ozigbo Foundation, Izuchukwu Oraelosi, in Awka, on Sunday.
The statement read in part, “We decided to join the governorship race to impact on society and take governance to an unprecedented level in the state. It further said the foundation had spent about N20m on the provision of stimulus packages to the needy across the state since the COVID-19 lockdown started in Anambra State.
“Free and regular power supply should be part of the stimulus packages to mitigate the pains of the COVID-19 lockdown on the citizenry. “I urge government and wealthy individuals to prioritise the provision of food, water, security and power to the people at a time like this.
