Savings rates are being slashed, with some high street accounts now paying as little as 0.01% interest. But experts said consumers “do not have to take this lying down,” and urged them to switch to one of the accounts still offering a semi-decent rate.
People often don't realise that their local credit union may pay a dividend which is very attractive. We paid 0.70% last year and our AGM in May will hopefully approve another dividend at very attractive levels for this year. Savings are fully protected by the FSCS

I only get 0.1 percent on my savings. My savings are currently 153 quid. Last year I earned 1 pence in interest. The statement they sent me must have cost a quid. Do the math!
