He have worked for a bank and he knows full well that no banks will do that. Bank obligation is to their shareholder and nobody else. That's the consequences of consolidating banks into just a few. They are too big for governments to control. We reap what we sow.

Hire purchase moratorium interest rate cannot be higher than original contract - BNMThe central bank says it had indicated from the start that there will be accrued interest or profit during the six-month moratorium. For the benefit of the laymen, why don't BNM come up with a hypothetical table showing a range of loan amounts / interest rates / tenures and the INTEREST AMOUNT accrued. If the amounts are 'not that high', people might just accept it.
