Ms Palaszczuk said "new economy minerals" such as copper, cobalt, zinc and lithium, which are needed to build wind turbines, solar panels and batteries, could boost the state's mining sector and lead to new manufacturing jobs.

Biomass generators, solar and wind? No thank you. My solar panels cannot deliver and I think we changed from burning timber to burning coal decades ago because there are not enough trees to burn to generate energy. What about clean nuclear or fusion 24/7?
