Who exactly is paying for this legal action then? To me, the benefits parents receive are way too high. For instance; go on the government's benefit checker & a single parent can get £26,500 a year in London. That's over twice a married couple's state pension they paid in for.

The DWP still making the mother pay back a loan that was fraudulently taken out by someone else in her name but without her involvement just makes this even more appalling.

I wish her the best of luck! Universal Credit is an absolute shambles!!
