Compass Group, the world’s biggest catering firm, intends to raise £2bn from investors to shore up its finances, as the schools, offices and sporting venues it previously supplied with food remain largely closed.
This may explain why one of my friends was paid 80% of her worked hours and told ‘’it’s because you are furloughed’ despite her actually working those hours... scamming HMRC by claiming furlough pay for worked hours is obviously a fundraising tactic 🤷♂️
