Boris Johnson should use upcoming G7 presidency to insist UK banks join debt suspension schemes, campaigners say

Wasn’t this y’all posting a headline stating that middle-income households will be hit with a £2 BILLION council tax bill Where’s the money coming from to cover that £2 Billion and now the debt of other countries? Will it magically osmosis out of the atmosphere? 🤔

Why do I get the feeling that the UK will be struggling to save itself. Perhaps rich people in developing countries could start a go fund me for poor people in the UK and the USA. Alternatively they could tax the beejesus out of large corporations and the 1% who’ve done so well

While I'd welcome that, The UK can't even solve it's own debt problems. Debt to GDP is over 100%, we have over £2 trillion national debt and over 15 million living in poverty. If only we could get rid of the corrupt kleptocrats in office...

This government doesn’t even like 48% of its *own* people, I can’t see them doing much for anyone else beyond our borders
