EGYPT's Curse of the Pharaohs has long piqued the interest of the public and Egyptologists alike, and leading expert Dr Zahi Hawass recalled bizarre 'incidents' that occurred while probing the mummy of Tutankhamun.

The mystery came to be known as the Curse of the Pharaohs after reports at the time claimed the tomb was engraved with a curse promising that"death shall come on swift wings to him who disturbs the peace of the king”.And while the question of whether the curse was real or not still rumbles on for some, former Minister of Antiquities, Dr Hawass, has revealed he was also later “subjected to some incidents” in 2005.
