General Overseer, The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has decried the nation’s growing

debt burden. He nevertheless expressed hope in a divine intervention that would help the country become greater.

He disclosed this, yesterday, at RCCG headquarters, The Throne of Grace, Ebute-Metta, during the month-end thanksgiving service.Adeboye said: “We are celebrating the 61st anniversary of our great nation’s independence with mixed feelings. know how many of you will believe with me that very soon, this country will be another testimony to the world and that Nigeria is just beginning.”

Sanwo-Olu said he believes Nigeria would begin to experience divine encounters, which would also rub on Lagos State. Lagos will be richer and Nigeria will be greater, he said.Assistant General Overseer, , Pastor Johnson Odesola, pitched his tent with the state government on the ongoing Value Added Tax dispute, saying the Federal Government has no constitutional right to collect VAT.

He queried the stance of Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, on VAT, concluding that only restructuring can move the nation forward.
