A former MP who was jailed for sexually assaulting two women said he cannot afford £35,000 he owes in court costs.
The court heard Elphicke received £51,000 from the sale of his marital home, but most of the money had been used "in legal fees and to pay rent". He said he was working with the job centre and a probation officer to find a new career and must find somewhere else to live after separating with his wife Natalie Elphicke, the current MP for Dover.

Maybe Boris Johnson will instruct his MPs to pass a law waiving court fees for tory MP offenders? It wouldn't surprise me.
Thought he would claim it on expenses TBF. Sure other MP's have. Even complained about police stopping them. Send the bailiffs round; make him file for bankruptcy if that poor as clearly living above means; hence a security rick. Any off shore tax haven money?
