Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Lea DeLaria’s decades-long friendship goes so deep they’ve lent each other thousands of dollars over the years.
DeLaria revealed that when she had some issues with the IRS, Ferguson repaid the favor and gave her some cash. Following the Broadway show, Ferguson confirmed that they’ve loaned money to one another, but recalled a very different amount.“For some reason, I remember [the amount she lent] it being like $50,000,” he said.
“No, I probably gave it to her before that,” he corrected himself. “It was probably when I made my first paycheck in TV that I was able to pay her back. It was a hefty sum she lent me.”
