Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb, Sen. Sherrod Brown & a handful of community activists hit the pavement on Tuesday in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood to spread the word on the federal Child Tax Credit just a few days ahead of the upcoming tax filing deadline.

The two men, and Ayonna Blue Donald, Ohio VP Enterprise Community Partners, spoke to the media before they departed on their routes through the neighborhood. Bibb and Brown stopped to talk to one resident, Renee Adams, as they walked down Kingsford Ave. near E. 144th St.
