SEN. Panfilo Lacson vowed to speed up the economic recovery micro, small and medium-sized enterprises if elected to the presidency, saying he would promptly “work towards simplification of the application process for state-funded loans.”
Lacson commiserated by assuring he understood her sentiments, pinning the blame on “lack of information dissemination and improper policy implementation” concerning the available P2 billion worth of public funds allocated for the DTI to help keep MSMEs afloat. Moreover, the businesswoman related her disappointing experience in trying to seek assistance from the DTI.
