Nomination forms of the All Progressive Congress to vie for the seat of Abia central senatorial district in 2023.
DAILY POST had earlier reported in January 2022, that Ikoh announced his intention to vie for the office of Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Recall that the politician had earlier in 2021, left the Peoples Democratic Party for the governing APC in Nigeria where he served as a Commissioner for Industry under the first term of the incumbent Governor of the State, Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu.
However, while presenting the nomination forms purchased and obtained from the APC national secretariat Abuja, to his teeming supporters in Umuahia on Friday, Ikoh promised responsive and effective representation. He said that enough has not been done in Abia central senatorial zone, said that the people of Abia central deserve a better representation shrouded on industrialization and wealth creation to improve the socio-economic and Infrastructural development of Abia central.
