Boroffice is a ranking Senator, who was first elected as senator in 2011.
He has won three successive senatorial elections in Ondo North Senatorial District and is the only Senator on the platform of APC from Ondo State. In 2019, Boroffice was a leading candidate for the office of the Deputy Senate Presidency, he eventually withdrew from the race, citing deference to the wish of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Boroffice started his early career as University lecturer in University of Ibadan and Lagos State University . He has P.hD in Human Genetics and Post-Doctorate Research Fellowship from University of Newcastle, England.
