The problem with a four-day work week is that there would be no more hump day.
Not all companies are asking employees to work 4 ten-hr days. Some are doing 4 nine-hr days, and the smart few are doing 4 eight-hr days and paying employees the same. It's been shown to work well for productivity!

Does that mean they work earlier or long in 4 days, or keep the same hours in the four days which means they loss 8 hours?

Some people that have switched to four 10-day work weeks are saying it's not as easy as it seems. And by the end of the fourth day they're pretty burned out.
This is not a new thing. We need to have govt services open on Saturdays.
