JOHANNESBURG - Eskom said it will only restore electricity supply to parts of Parys and Vredefort in the Free State once the Ngwathe local municipality settles its debt with the utility.
Eskom said it issued a quotation for the municipality and during meetings held this week - Ngwathe agreed to pay for the repairs.
EWN reporter should ask why the protections system is non-functional as the breach of a NMD should never result in a technical failure. Seems to me that Eskom spokesperson should rather comment on if the distribution system maintenance and tech compliance is to the required std
In the meantime paying customers and those with prepaid meters are screwed Now there is also no water for 2days coz without power water can’t be pumped Eskom_SA ur beef is with the municipality & not it’s people find a better solution to this cat fight
