The incentive to study hard has increased!

National Higher Education Fund Corporation students who graduate with a First Class bachelor’s degree will be exempted from repaying their loans.

This is to encourage students in the country to work hard in order to obtain the best result for their tertiary education. In February, the government announced that almost 80,000 students were eligible for loan repayment exemptions, totalling RM2.06 billion from PTPTN. To date, PTPTN has assisted 3.67 million people in the country and provided RM66.87 billion worth of loans. I believe many people who benefited from PTPTN’s assistance went on to achieve success through employment and standard of living, subsequently becoming ‘assets’ or human capital for the nation.
