Senator Robin Padilla on Monday night said that he gave his colleagues copies of his test drug results which showed he was negative for illegal drugs.
Padilla made the remark after his privilege speech calling for the legalization of marijuana for medical purposes.The drug test document flashed on the plenary screen showed Padilla was negative for methamphethamine and tetrahydrocannabinol. To which, Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri said, "For the record, natanggap po namin ang inyong drug test report."
"Negative ang mga drugs kaya at least hindi po 'to conflict of interest na itinutulak n'yo dahil ginagamit n'yo," Zubiri said.
