SAN DIEGO – There are now several GOP states suing the Biden administration in attempt to stop his student loan forgiveness program from taking affect.
Six states total filed lawsuits challenging the sweeping proposal laid of by the President in late August which would cancel up to $20,000 in educational debt for a mass amount of borrowers. When the lawsuits began to surface, the Biden administration quietly began scaling back eligibility rules for the proposed debt relief.
Legal Analyst Dan Eaton joined KUSI’s Jenny Milkowski to talk about the Biden Administration’s recent choices and how the general public will feel the affects of the debt forgiveness program.
