Police believe a knife or other ‘edged weapon’ was used to kill four college students who were found dead in a home on Sunday.

Police are investigating the deaths of four college students in what authorities are calling a ‘crime of passion

The victims were identified as Ethan Chapin, 20, Madison Mogen, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Kaylee Goncalves, 21. ‘This was an isolated, targeted attack and there is no imminent threat to the community at large,’ Moscow police stated. The fatal incident took place just blocks away from University of Idaho campus buildings. The university cancelled classes on Monday, posted additional security officers, and made counselling services available to students after the incident.
