Twitter on Tuesday fact-checked a tweet from Sen. Elizabeth Warren in which she made claims that President Joe Biden has the authority to cancel student debt.

"... the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals in October temporarily blocked the student loan forgiveness program in response to an emergency motion …," the post read.Biden’s plan to cancel up to $20,000 in student loan debt for Pell Grant recipients and up to $10,000 for others who borrowed using federal student loans is estimated to cost taxpayers more than $400 billion.

ARKANSAS AG LESLIE RUTLEDGE ON BIDEN'S STUDENT LOAN HANDOUT: ‘ILLEGAL AND UNLAWFUL ACTIONS SINCE DAY 1’ Several legal challenges have been filed in courts across the country since the administration’s announcement, looking to thwart the president’s plan. A federal judge in Texas shot down Biden’s plan last Thursday in a case brought on by the Job Creators Network Foundation.

The foundation filed the suit in the U.S. District Court of the Northern District of Texas, arguing they were denied due process to object to the move during a comment period."Whether the Program constitutes good public policy is not the role of this Court to determine," U.S. District Judge Mark Pittman wrote last week.

Love the expression on Elons face

Biden's and the Dems plan is a slap in the face of hard working people that choose not to go to college and to those college students who took their choice to include debt seriously and responsibly paid it back. Paying people to be irresponsible is this administrations answer.

this cra cra woman lies about everything-

No debt cancellation!

She would do really well in multi-level marketing. Hype, b*******, and no substance.

UK quote Back in the day said by Lord Acton 1834 to 1902 It is a longer quote than shown. 'Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts obsolutely' Still applys

She couldn’t be more wrong about presidential power. Provided their is a declared national emergency the president has power to invoke a moratorium but that is not the same as forgiveness. Is COVID over or not?

Exactly! All debit has to go through Congress and voted on. Being a law professor Warren should know how it works. This is solid proof that she is incompetent to be in the upper chamber of Government, especially as long as she has already been there. NOT QUALIFIED!!
