Sounds about right WEF goal no one will own anything and be happy.

What does she do that she clears $4400 per month? I make almost $45 an hour and I don’t clear that.

'We continue bringing you stories about landlords and their troubles, why has skyrocketing rent not gotten attention?'

Do like me, I’m currently living in Toronto and pay $2000 for a small one bedroom condo. I decided to move to Montreal where I found a smaller studio half the price in Downtown Montreal, I will be living downtown and paying less and saving more. I can still learn French

Because you don’t care about renters

I am no expert but taxes going up, interest rates going up . Cost to run and maintain rentals going up what would expect rent to do? It’s not going down that’s for sure,

Why should landlords get all this sympathy over human beings

CBC News acknowledging the protracted rental crisis...but not without interviewing another poor downtrodden landlord, c'mon now

You don't say?

Says the outlet that's pumped out how many pro-landlord stories? Don't start pretending to care about renters, it's just too weird at this point.

Do yall expect the public to write your stories for you? You're the journalists....write about it!

CBC News taking a break from servicing the landlord gloryhole on Bay street to sheepishly ask why nobody is talking about the rising price of rent is truly something to behold

This is temporary. There will be a delay from dropping home prices to rents costs. Rest assured, it’s all coming down for many years to come. People who bought pre-sales, and those remortgaging over 2 years minimum are cooked. It’s just a slow roast. Finally paying for 2008.

CBC supports Carbon and Fuel taxes, right? That causes price inflation for everything. This is an Inflation Pride article, right?

It hasn't gotten attention because you haven't been covering it. You've been running 'poor landlord' stories (11 of them in Ontario since March!) instead.

CBC has shifted into a ''we know you getting screwed but its out of our hands'' mentality without blaming the feds for ANYTHING....keep kissing Trudeau's ass.

Give another 4 billion to corrupt nationalist filled Ukraine. That will fix it.

I love when CBC runs defence for landlords. Super cool!

We need to make it easier to build rentals. None of this '10 year plan' BS. Why cant we tackle this with the same urgency that we viewed Covid or Ukraine?

More rates will definitely help 😉🤣🙂

Fix the LTB so deadbeat tenants can be evicted

motgage rates go up rents go up,thank a liberal/ndp voter

Simple. Greed and profit at the expense of other human beings.

Trudeau’s record immigration will make sure this continues
