Biden asks U.S. Supreme Court to lift block of student loan relief plan

In a policy benefiting millions of Americans, Biden announced in August that the U.S. government would forgive up to $10,000 in student loan debt for borrowers making less than $125,000 a year, or $250,000 for married couples.

The department also suggested the high court could bypass the appeals court and hear the dispute itself on an expedited basis, with a decision by the end of June. The really simple solution to this is to allow student loans to be added to bankruptcy like any other type of credit/loan. Why should this government loan be any different than other types of credit?
