Sadly garnishment would probably be cheaper and less stressful in the end. Only saying that cause of the horrible companies I've had to deal with that each have their own set of rules and interest rates.
If you signed the loan paperwork, you are legally bound to paying it back. You don’t have to but you will destroy your credit.
