CommSec’s Tom Piotrowski says there is a concern the US Federal Reserve may “overcook” rate hikes due to better economic news seen in the past few days, particularly in the services sector.

“That’s sort of opposing that trend lower that we saw for interest rates last week because they were of the mind that

perhaps the Fed might pull back on its aggressive rate hikes because of the moderation in inflation,” he told Sky News Australia.
