Whether you think forgiveness will go through or not, there are some steps you can take to improve your situation and prepare for what happens next.

Here are five steps to take while you wait for the Supreme Court to decide on the fate of your federal student loans.First, you should log into your account at StudentAid.gov and your student loan servicer to ensure that your contact information is up to date. This step may seem insignificant, but the fact remains that many borrowers have not made a payment on their federal student loans for nearly three years at this point.

If you don't like what your monthly payment will be when payments resume next year, you can also look into moving your loans to an income-driven repayment plan. With this type of repayment plan, you'll pay a percentage of your"discretionary income" toward your student loans for 20 to 25 years before having remaining loan balances forgiven.

However, my recommendation to most borrowers is to not make additional payments. Borrowers, should never give the government extra money that’s not required.

The first step Don’t hold your breath

FakeNews Forbes pushing false narratives The debt is not being forgiven it is being transferred to taxpayers StopPropaganda

If they didn’t they should be paying as much money as they can on their loans while there is a pause reducing their debt limit and lowering their interest.

General Public Debt Forgiveness - We dont have to pay the bills of people who wont take a part time job (of which they all cant even be filled now) to pay their own bills. Others did to pay for college & others even didnt go to college but are now being forced to pay for others.

You took a loan to learn a career where nobody wants you. Your fault. Drunk and stoned is no way to go through college. Pay your own bills

How about new house loan forgiveness? If I go to the grocery store and get 300$ worth of food can I go up to the cash register and just say oops, I don’t have enough money but just have it for free no problem? Can I just sign up for expensive things but have it free also?

What this mean please?

If GOP stops Donald Trump for running presidency, it will no longer be a party of Lincoln. Despite having so much popularity if party refuses him it would b conspiracy. Cause if you want a democratic party, your party needs to be democratized first. Democracy = Acceptability!
