The JSE is facing higher Asian markets at the start of the new week in which all eyes will turn to the SA Reserve Bank on Thursday for its latest interest rate decision, with a hike expected.

The Hang Seng in Hong Kong gained 1.82%, the Nikkei in Japan 1.26% and the Shanghai composite in mainland China 0.76%.
