Domestic violence survivors who owned property with a former partner will be classified as first-home buyers if the NSW Liberal government is re-elected. The Coalition government will also waive the eligibility criteria for survivors seeking a bond loan for a rental property.
As if they’re going to have any money to even buy a new house! What if they’ve been financially abused or there’s a financial agreement that leaves them with nothing? How about helping them with more money and support to start a new life?
