Not as easy as it looks. Anything but the latest vans lack modern insulation hence most parks close during winter. A decent static costs £40k+ plus heating in winter will cost more than a house rent alone! Then rent for land and planning permission which is near impossible.
Just need £4k for a caravan and as for where to put it... 'Ours is just on land that family already own'.
