Not freak out. Just realistic & not spending on non essential things.

you bet I'm starting to freak out

Lol you don't say? Maybe those record corporate profits have something to do with it. The old saying 'you can't squeeze blood out of a turnip'.

Why spend why you can just steal?

Yeah, that's what happens when the free money runs out, inflation is still sky high, and looting doesn't pay like 2020.

The consumer spending has been fueled by credit cards recently, but as credit cards are getting maxed out things are going to get ugly soon

Maybe greedy corps shouldn’t “lay-off” people in an effort to drive down salaries so we have less spending power. As well, they can more than afford to pay us much better than what they do. So, it’s not our fault we’re spending less. We have no choice.

The Fed is winning if consumer spending is sputtering.

Elections have consequences. An oldie but goodie. Because it is true.

Food prices up, gas up, 31 trillion dollar debt

Thanks democrats!

I can only speak for one US consumer - I am certainly not starting to 'freak out.' What I am is angry. I'm aggravated by poor quality & fake shortages coupled with record profits + huge stock buy backs. I have ad burnout. Do not try selling me another gd thing. It's all trash.

The pundits and media talked us into inflating and now talking us into recession 😡. Please, just stop.

My auto insurance jumped 20% this year, so year, there will be cutbacks elsewhere.

Not this consumer…
