UC was designed to be a costly disaster in order to break the back of the welfare state.....something that has always been at the top of the tory to do list. Of course they want to go ahead with it. Human misery is just the icing on the cake for them.
We need to increase universal credit payments hugely, pay in advance, bring back income support and end sanctions.
