Denley: City of Ottawa shouldn't help fund an NHL arena at LeBreton FlatsThe city has no financial interest in the Canadian Tire Centre and no financial interest in the NCC\u002Downed LeBreton site. Denley's bang on here, on every point. Don't think there's an appetite to put public funds behind a rink at Lebreton, or that the Kanata rink is the issue people make it out to be. if they do then they should have the stakes in the profit until debt is paid off adjusted for inflation. This would be a private, for profit, venture. Owners can spend the $$$. I think we have enough to handle with the dumpster fire on rails we are currently committed to.
