The House Freedom Caucus, whose members forced House Speaker Kevin McCarthy to endure 15 floor votes before being elected to his top post, is among a number of congressional groups hoping to influence the budget that Arrington's panel is due to produce in coming weeks. The GOP plan, in a nutshell, is to retain tax cuts for the wealthy, defund the IRS so tax cheats can cheat, gouge students arlready being gouged, and slash “discretionary” spending, i.e., all kinds of things average Americans depend upon.
Republicans have used the same tactics for as long as I can remember. They holler, pose and posture, ...but Never cut spending. So our debt continues to rise. 'There's not a dimes worth of difference between the Republicans and the Democrats'.
