KUALA LUMPUR, March 15 —The Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry plans to introduce loan facilities to finance the purchase of vehicles and insurance to help the B40 group under the Payung Rahmah initiative.
“God willing we will come up with a Rahmah insurance that can be offered to people who cannot afford a new car but can only buy second hand car, but there is a protection scheme for their car,” he said after officiating at a campaign at Mydin Subang Jaya, here today.
Improve our public transportation system, then reduce the need for private cars.
If cannot afford daily expenses, how does buying a car help? Will you give loans for car service then? What about car insurance, bagi loan? Something is seriously wrong with this country.

I can't even believe what the minister said about cars. Car is a terrible financial investment since they lose value so quickly. Apparently, owning a car costs way more than you'd expect at first glance.
The government should introduce better public transport system. More bus operators. More interconnection between rail, buses and taxi/ e-hailing.
Why the need? For doing business? If it’s for normal transport, got to recover some $ $ by offering carpooling, provided charging for carpooling is allowed. Otherwise Special discounts for B40 on daily-use public transport may work better?
