The former signalman's house sits between the Settle to Carlisle railway and the Yorkshire Three Peaks route. Despite generating lots of interest, Mr Spratt said no sale was forthcoming, with the price reduced by £50,000 in autumn 2022.Gas cannisters were carried to the house for cooking with electricity provided by a windmill and generator

The estate agent said he did not expect the property, which is a 50-mile round trip to the nearest cinema in Lancaster, to be a family home again due to its unusual position a mile away from the nearest road.

Try a Dales Pony

Yes old news no electricity naturally no heating bbrr cold no shops for miles

You’d have to be mad and have a hell of a lot of money to buy that . Plus if you did buy it and spent £1000’s on it would would buy it if you wanted to sell. 🤷‍♂️ would make a good safe house for walkers

So where is Look North at 6.30?

maybe they’re put off by the fact the front door is ten yards from the three peaks route and 1000s of people a week will walk by…

My ideal home.
