The man sought by authorities is known to frequent the Hayward and Union City areas, according to the Union City Police Department.

Union City police on Wednesday sought the public's help to locate a man identified as a person of interest in an unsolved homicide.

The man was later pronounced dead of his injuries, according to the Union City PD. His identity has yet to be determined, though police reported he"appeared to be in his mid-30’s."
