Oshun, who expressed concern about the ongoing face-off between the two nonagenarians concerning which of the two major gubernatorial candidates in Lagos State to vote for, said: “Whatever the differences between Pa Fasoranti and Pa Adebanjo, they must be resolved along the interest of Yoruba people.
In the same vein, National Organising Secretary of the organisation, Kole Omololu, faulted the Adebanjo-led faction, saying there was no meeting where Afenifere took a collective decision to support the Labour Party in Lagos State. He also added that it would be a setback for Lagos State, which is the pride of Yoruba people, to be under the control of opposition party when Tinubu will be president.
Omololu, therefore, appealed to all electorate in Lagos State to troop out en-masse on Saturday to support Sanwo-Olu. He said: “Rhodes-Vivour is like a son to me but with all the issues surrounding him, the best is to allow APC retain control of Lagos.”
