Police continue to search for an unidentified suspect and persons of interest believed to be linked to the case of the missing 37-year-old woman.

Police have arrested another individual suspected in the kidnapping of Elnaz Hajtamiri, who was abducted from a home in Wasaga Beach by three suspects over a year ago.

On Thursday, Krystal P. Lawrence, 30, of Brampton was arrested and charged with kidnapping, according to a police press release.A Toronto man identified as Deshawn Davis, 35, is still wanted by police afterThe Ontario Provincial Police are also looking for another unidentified suspect, who is male and possibly residing in the GTA.

There are one or two persons of interest, who are not suspects, but who rented vehicles in December 2021 and may have information related to the case. Hajtamiri was kidnapped from a residence on Trailwood Place in Wasaga Beach at around 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 12, 2022 by three suspects disguised as police officers. They escaped in a white Lexus RX sport utility vehicle, police said.She is described at five-foot-three-inches tall, with a slim build and shoulder-length black hair, or possibly shorter since she cut it prior to her abduction.
