I didn’t find a solution, but I know of a solution. Cut out the middleman (insurance company) and move to a one payer system! Healthcare for profit is shameful
A good solution would be medicare for all. Stories don't help...I hate to say it, but the only people listening will be those that want positive change. The people that won't be listening (GOP, big Pharma, huge hospital networks, etc) JUST DON'T CARE. Sounds bleak, but is true.

No insurance in 2018, went to ER $6000. For 5 xrays and a steroid shot. I now need two new hips and two new knees. How will i pay my 8000 deductable? I don't have any extra money to get an appt with Dr. to even start talking about a new hip. Can't walk. Used to be an athlete....
