The Biden administration has released its list of EVs that qualify for a full $7,500 federal tax credit. Here's what to know:

The Biden administration proposes new pollution limits that would require as many as two-thirds of new cars sold in the U.S. to be electric by 2032.No longer eligible are cars from Volkswagen, Hyundai, Kia, Nissan, BMW, Volvo and Rivian. EVs from those carmakers, under rules interpreted by the U.S. Treasury, don’t source enough of their battery components or raw materials from North America to qualify.

Alliance Chief Executive John Bozzella said Monday that affordable electric cars are essential to mass adoption and that subsidies should be “broadly available to as many customers and on as many EVs as possible.”

Right, but American. However, all the components sourced to make these vehicles are made from China and third world countries who all use fossil fuels to make. You’re not really saving the planet. You’re better off stopping the stuffing of mailboxes full of junk mail.

“He’ll subsidize”? You mean other Americans will…

Do you work for Biden ? Sounds like it the way you write your articles

Unless it’s Tesla ..

Why is the govt subsidizing these expensive cars for the rich?

So much for consumer choice and the “free market.” This is protectionist corporate welfare. Thanks Joe Manchin.

I will never own an electric vehicle. I will stick with my gas powered truck as long as I can. Biden is miss guiding everybody with his BS. His priorities are wrong.

Elon musk just keeps getting richer

Nope - pls end all tax credits for EV's, solar, most everything. We don't want to pay for this crapola. You want an EV - buy it (good luck taking a trip, or paying for the car insurance).

Yeah no thanks
