A 55-year-old dispatch rider, Herbert Omonkhegbele, whose wife, Vivian, was allegedly pushed to death by an employee of a microfinance bank in the Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State over a debt of N75,000, tellsI used to be a machinist. I was working with a group of companies but the company was closed down in 2010.
I was surprised because the previous week, I went to them and promised that I would see them before the week ran out and they agreed. So, I wondered why they were in my house but to avoid trouble, I told my daughter to transfer N10,000 to them from the money she had as a PoS operator. My daughter transferred the money to them immediately and they received the alert instantly. Later, my wife walked in and met six of them in my parlour.
