My dad used to claim zero exemptions & my parents used the refund for family vacations & home improvements. You can't spend what you don't have through the rest of the year. Maybe not the 'best' way to save, but for many working people it's the way that works. Brett Exactly. Gets around some folks' spending habits, but the goal should be to break even on taxes.
