“There are also tax deductions, the pensions contract liability which stands at N4.5 billion. Then the total debt stock, internal and external, stands at N123.3 billion. So, the total liability as of 31st December 2023 stands at N241.5 billion.”
In his reaction to the report from the Ganduje administration, Yusuf inquired where the state government would get the money to recover from the debt, saying, “It is so disheartening to hear that the state government left a debt of over N241 billion, it is so disheartening. Where are we going to source the money?”Yusuf added, “I’m sorry, I just have to express that, so that the good people of the state will understand our predicaments.
“Why the use of consultants? So many consultants, as draining conduits of the resources of the people of the state.
