Will Lincoln's ring road finally get completed? 🚦

The latest plans for the North Hykeham Relief Road have been put to the public, with a series of information events allowing local residents to voice their concerns and hopes.

The road will complete the ring road around Greater Lincoln and will form part of the Lincolnshire Coastal Highway. The first of these events took place at the Bentley Hotel on June 12, with two more scheduled for June 13 at Bracebridge Heath Pavilion and June 14 at Waddington Community Hub. They also felt that the project's focus seemed to be more on environmental considerations, such as tree planting and water runoff management, rather than on improving traffic flow.

Mark Bindley, the Chairman of the Thorpe on the Hill Parish Council, has been involved with the North Hykeham Relief Road project for over a year.
